Corvara in winter

In winter, Corvara is the center of numerous ski tours; the most famous is certainly the Sella tour, with about 500 km of perfectly snow-covered slopes.

The Dolomiti Superski carousel boasts more than 1200 km of slopes and 460 ski lifts. You will be enchanted by the perfect organization as well as by the surrounding landscapes. At high altitudes you can find parks for children and adults. If you decide to visit us in the period before Christmas, you can see, directly on the slope edge the World Cup race that takes place on the Gran Risa slope at La Villa. In addition, there are many Christmas markets during this period, which deserve to be visited, such as the one in Brunico, a few kms from Val Badia.

For those who have hung up the skis, the tourist association organizes a lot of alternatives in order to not get bored. You can decide to rent snowshoes and wander through our marvelous woods enjoying the sound of uncontaminated nature. Alternatively, you can take a walk on horseback or, if you are a sportsman, you can try ski mountaineering. Of course, there is no lack of space dedicated to cross-country skiers: in San Cassiano you will find about 38 km of slopes. For anyone who wants to try this sport, there is the possibility to do some test lessons at the Cross-Country Ski School.

For younger guests there are several alternatives such as ski schools and snow kindergartens. You will surely find what will be right for you!

And what about Wellness? If you want to be pampered and get relaxed, there's no problem, at the tourist agency you can find a complete list of spas, from small exclusive areas in neighboring hotels up to big centers like the Kron 2 in Brunico with pools, whirlpools and various types of saunas. How to forget to talk about food and wine? Here the culture of food is a tradition that lasts for centuries. In Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, Badia and San Cassiano you will be spoiled for choice: whatever you want to taste, a pizza or an unforgettable starry dinner, a German beer or a refined Rum, Alta Badia will not disappoint you.
